Ingredients List
1 cup elbow pasta
2 tbsp butter
1/8 cup all purpose flour
3/8 cup milk
2 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/16 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded gruyere cheese
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
parsley for topping
1 jar Forklore Foods creamy spinach basil pasta sauce
Recipe Instructions
Boil macaroni for 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a bowl, mix cheese together.
Heat butter over medium low heat. Sprinkle in flour and whisk to combine. Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and milk until combined and similar to a semi-thick consistency.
Stir in 3/4 cup of the mixed cheese until melted and combined.
In a bowl, combine drained macaroni with cheese mixture, stirring to combine. Pour into a baking dish.
Top with rest of mixed cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees F until cheese crust is golden brown.
Top with sauce. Serve and enjoy!
